Thanks for bailing our ass out. First the government gives us money to survive on, then you all take a giant step further into debt…especially since we are in a recession…That takes balls America. Really guys…This country amazes me. Most Americans are in debt, we are in a recession and people are out buying new cars. Get a grip America. We are a empire being run on credit and IT WILL CATCH UP WITH US. With talks of a second major recession coming, I hope that your decision to help GM will come back to bite you in the arse.

Smart people buy in cash. They buy within their means. They buy something around 2 years old. Yes, USED. Most cars depricate the most in the first 2 years. Thats a fact. I don’t just talk shit. I been there brother. I bought a car for $22k + ttl…$26 total…they about 2 years we sold…for $12k. Where did that money go? To the auto manufacturer. Numbers don’t lie. Be smart. Buy something 2 years or older and something that you can possibly pay for in cash. Millionaires DO NOT borrow money. They lend to losers like you that can’t really afford it. Good news though….by being smart, you can step out of your loser status and walk in the light.

When and Where does this end. What’s next UltraMegaBlurayHD-DVDHologram cube discs? I talked to a man the other day that said he loved collecting movies…so much that he has 2000 movies…vhs movies…at $15-$20 each…thats about 30k-40k. Dumb or Dumber? He moved on to replace the collection with dvds. About 500 dvds into it, he heard a mention that dvds were done and HD DVDS were coming. Then the whole hd-dvd vs bluray battle began. When are we going to tell the movie industry hell no? Well guys…I told them no along time ago.

Windows Media Center is pretty well known but by the amount of support, apps and users….not well known enough. I started my video collection about 1 year ago and i’m up to about 1000 movies. Bluray rippers are now on the prowl and are starting to produce decent rips that are about 10gigs. I bought 2 western digital hard drives (1TB/each) for $99/each. Thats $0.10/gig. So if I download a 1 gig movie…it costs me $0.10 to store the movie. If I download a 10gig bluray…it cost me $1 to store.

Actors are way overpaid so therefore I DO NOT feel one ounce of guilt for doing this. Hollywood needs a wakeup call anyway. While millions of dollars are being paid to untalented actors for mediocre movies, the rest of the country are struggling to put food in their childrens mouths. I do love capitalism but when such things are going on…Hollywood is not getting my money.

Hit em where it hurts….their inventory. I use blockbuster mostly (because they let you use prepaid CCs) and also let you try them for 2 weeks. I open the account with a prepaid CC that has $1 on it. They send me the 3 blurays first. I report that I sent them back. They send me 3 more blurays. I report that I already sent them back and to send me more please. They have been very slow lately so I usually only get 6 blurays before the 2 weeks run out but it use to be like 12 blurays without spending a dollar.

I know…its wrong… What’s wrong is getting only 3 dvds a week while paying for an unlimited plan. Thats wrong. I’m just testing the old equation, “Two wrongs don’t equal a right.” I’ll let you know the outcome…hehe

Can anyone say prepaid credit card? Rent 20 movies for $20 (+tax)….then make sure theres no money left on card…simple enough. When they catch on…use your debit card…hit them for 50 movies and then report the card stolen and get a new one issued.

Sure…sounds unethical….until they start charging your credit card every month for charges that you didn’t authorize. How many people do you think they “accidentally” charge….even $1 extra…times 5000 people a month….Its only $1 to you but much more to a company that has access to your stored card.

What is “getting off the grid” to me? If you google this phrase, it pertains to being energy independent. I’m going to a step further. I want to be energy, mentality, socially and market independent. Follow me to a different world where you have no:

• Bills
• Debts
• Electricity Consumption (from power companies)
• Cell phone
• Tax Paying Job
• No Bank Account

Sounds like a dead person or a bum…right? We are so dependent upon those things that we don’t even being to understand how enslaved we are to them. In life, we really need one thing….Security. Shelter, Food and a means to obtain other things that we need or want….aka Job Security. Not the job security that you are used to. Job security meaning…a way to provide things that you can’t produce yourself. Here is an detailed plan on living the way we are meant to live, free:

Housing Security

• Buy land and house in cash.
• Buy Solar power or wind power…something renewable.
• Communication…something like a prepaid phone. Nothing trackable.
• Entertainment…satellite or antenna tvs…nothing trackable (no SS# involved).
• Land perimeter defense…fences, watchtowers, security cameras, etc.
• Underground bunker…nuclear proof.

Food Security

• Farm
• Trade for food
• Buy food cash from locals
• Well water.
• Buy canned food, MREs or anything w/ long shelf life.

Job Security

• Learn as much as you can about necessities. Be able to trade your knowledge, skills or services for items/food.
• Find ways or investments that do not require you to “go to a job”….be portable. Setup a cash based business that offers residuals that come in even when you are sleeping or in another country. …Rental housing should be the foundation. Rent (in cash) is not traceable and when the banks stop loaning money…people will be renting. Internet businesses are great also.
• Hone your skills at bartering, looking for deals for yourself, reselling products (buy low deals, sell high).

Transportation

• Horse
• Alternate Fuel Car (hydrogen car would be perfect because its renewable. solar powered also).

The Government (capitalized because they have more power than God) can do whatever it pleases. The conscience of the government is no more. That conscience is the people that make it be. We the people….are no more. Our voices no longer count. According to the Rasmussen Report on Dec 18 and 19th, 2009, 55% of Americans OPPOSE “Health Care Reform,” but……the forceful hand is still going forward. Take a minute to take all that in……..Americans say no, government says “Yes, we can.” We finally understand the Barack Obama chant that had many of American morons crying at his inauguration. I remember that monumental day like it was yesterday. I was in disbelief. A well said sales pitch that was accepted by millions of people that had people crying when he was inaugurated. I’m sure they are still crying and will continue to cry when there children’s children are poor from poverty because we are paying for a war and a new health care system that was suppose to fix the economy and create jobs. Temp jobs that is. History shows us that most systems are bankrupt (ie. Social Security). History also shows us that the government can not run a health care system (ie. Medicare,Medicaid). With all the evidence at hand, we blaze towards a new frontier. I believe that it is a new frontier. One that we have never seen. A world where the rug has been pulled out from under us. Economic collapse that will have people in awestruck wonder, wondering “How did all this happen?” Oh yeah…….”Yes, we can.” Once the government takes over the Media…it will be all over. The economy will collapse and the Media will tell us….Good times are coming and we will believe them. We will believe because we are Americans and we believe in hope and dreams and prosperity. We believe all this because we are free. Unlike our cursed brothers in the East that only know jihad, death and the afterlife.

The Rant:

I have been on eBay since the beginning. Like most beginnings, it was pure and far away from corporate greed. It was a place where you could get an honest buck for selling your things or making money off of garage sell items. I have seen the fees go up about 200% and the final auction value…well, thats another story. eBay and its policies have ruined there site and if you include Paypal, an eBay owned company…its a recipe for a corporate disaster. Ebay is much like the government. They impliment rules and ideas to benefit the corporate heads that “run” the company. They also ruin the free enterprise model that Capitalism was built on.

Funny that when you google “free enterprise,” it redirects to “Capitalism” on Wiki. Capitalism is officially dead brothers and sisters when even corporations are controlling the buying and selling of goods.

Example: eBay has a maximum amount of shipping that a seller can charge a buyer on books, dvds and music. Free Enterprise says that if that if a potential buyer does not want to pay that much for shipping, then he is not obligated to bid or buy an item. This is just one way eBay is controlling auctions so that more people buy and bid on auctions.

Another Example: eBay does not allow Sellers to offer Buyers shipping insurance on any products at all. The option has been removed. The seller is 100% responsible for the product getting to the sellers house or office place.

A Better Example: eBay no longer supports paper payments. i.e. Money Orders or checks.

In 2008, eBay restructured its fee schedule in order to make more money. Plain and simple. I understand that companies must make money to survive, but they have pushed sellers away so far that now they are charging new sellers the cost of doing so.

Paypal. eBays right hand man. There are horror stories about how Paypal stole money out of people’s account…including mine.

The Hack

Post things on eBay with Fixed Price Auction and a Best Offer option.

Example: I am selling an iPhone on eBay and I need $300 in my pocket. I post a Buy It Now/Best Offer ad that costs $0.35. I post the Buy it Now option for $375 (well over what I need). If someone is stupid enough to pay way more then eBay will get rich off of dumb people and not smart people like us. What will happen is you will have offers from people. Once you accept the offer, eBay will be charging you the final auction fee of $15.25 which is 5%. If you use paypal, tack on another $9.00 (3% fee) for a total of 24.25 (8%) in fees.

Final Thought: Use eBay to give your item exposure. I know they try to rope you in with the whole “buyer protection”  ideology but you can still get screwed on eBay, so nothing is 100%. Use an escrow service. I’m sure they won’t charge 8%. This probrably won’t work if you are an eBay Powerseller, selling tons of products, but for someone who only sells large, pricey items once or twice a month…it will work. I was going to sell my iPhone on eBay but I did the math and decided to post my phone on Craigslist for a lower price than eBay…so, in the long run, I got the same amount that I would have got on eBay…but the person I sold it to got a great deal and my money didn’t go to eBay.

Go to the mac store. Check out the $2499 Mac Pro that has one 2.66 Quad Core processor and 3 gigs of ram. They want $2499 for a bunch of parts that would only cost me about $500. So, I guess that i’m paying $2000 for….an apple logo? …ego boost? ….support? ….a stable os? I remember my first computer. It was a pentium 100. After about a year, I upgraded the processor to a 133mhz. This cost me about $250. That was 1997. 12 years later, my Quad Core 2.66 cost me about $140. My, how times have changed. Computer technology has gotten better, smaller, faster and for the most part…prices are trending down. Apple on the other hand is slowly milking every dime that they can. With the release of the iPhone, Apple is now cross selling there macs in droves. This trendy social move that has everyone flocking to stores was very smart on Apples’ part but I’m afraid that it will be the death of them. Why is there OS so secure? Because their market share is a bump on Bill Gates’ nose. The virus writers, the phishers, the hackers and the nigerian scammers know that there are more people using Windows. I would also fish a fully stocked pond rather than a pond stocked with rich assholes that pay extreme prices to say that they own a mac. Most of these comments do not include the awesome digital professionals that uses macs for work. You guys rock on! All the big companies make there hardware accessable to all by lowering prices so that everyone can own one. Some even lose money so that even poor people can own one. They know that they will make money on software and accessories. With Apple, its the complete opposite. I have found that most of the software on Macs are the easiest to pirate. No activation patches or complex install procedures…just an old fashion serial number. This all leads me to believe that they know how they are fed and i’m about taking the bread out of Steve Job’s mouth. I’m sure it has caviar on it and i”m not found of caviar or grey poupon. The Hackintosh (aka: The guts of a Mac Pro without the $2000 Case)

I will be referencing them alot because alot of this is the OSX86 community’s work and I am just a writer that has successfully without much effort, build a Hackintosh in about one hour and a half total (building computer and installing.)
